Currently at $650.00 on eBay, this rare 20th Anniversary Apple Macintosh computer is one of just 11,601 produced worldwide — the other 399 were held for spare parts — and originally retailed for a whopping $7,500. Auction page.
In 1997 the tam was a $7,500 machine with concierge set-up in your home. On Steve Jobs return he canceled the project,and the molds were destroyed. Perhaps it was overpriced.

Winterboard now available for 3Gs!
Cydia has recently upgraded winterboard allowing iphone 3gs compatibility… Way to go Saurik!
The newly released 0.9.2958 versions of MobileSubstrate and WinterBoard (upgraded to support ARM7/Thumb2) should now work on the iPhone 3GS.

Recommended operating temperatures
Operate iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in a place where the temperature is between zero and 35 degrees Celsius (32 to 95 degrees Fahrenheit). Low or high-temperature conditions might temporarily shorten battery life or cause the device to temporarily stop working properly.
Recommended storage temperatures
Store iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in a place where the temperature is between -20 and 45 degrees Celsius (-4 to 113 degrees Fahrenheit). Don’t leave the device in your car, because temperatures in parked cars can exceed this range.
Symptoms of overheating
- iPhone will no longer charge
- iPhone display will dim
- Weaker cell signal
- iPhone temperature warning screen appears
